My Top 10. Or 12. Or 14. Or 15.

Over the years, I’ve collected some quotes that caught my interest and just stuck.

In times of stress, confusion, or some other feeling of discomfort, or worse, these quotes have redirected my thoughts, given me comfort, or renewed my strength. They are my triggers.

My challenge to you is to start a list of your own. We all have phrases, quotes, words, that we remember.

Write them down, put them on the wall, write them on 3 x 5 cards and carry them with you, but most of all, put them together on a sheet of paper and look at them. They will tell you a lot about yourself. About the rules you live by. They are your commandments. Your principles. Your rules. Your triggers. Yours. Not mine. Yours.

But for now, to give you a start, here are mine.

John Hargreaves

This, too, shall pass.
Attributed to the Bible, but it’s actually the punch line to an old story about the wisdom of the world.

2 plus 2 equals 4.

My will is greater than my won’t.
(I’m not sure. I read it recently, Google doesn’t have it, and I’ll let you know when I find it who wrote it.)

Shed your light freely, but do not give them of your oil.
Mary Baker Eddy

Love is its own reward.
Thomas Merton

My point of view is infinite abundance, my state of mind is gratitude.
Beca Lewis

There is only NOW. Be Present.
Summary of an essay, and the Truth as I see it

Bessie Anderson Stanley

You are doing exactly what you choose to be doing right now. Life is a choice.
Many, Many, Many people in different ways.

If you do it, do it well. If not, don’t do it.

Anyone who doesn’t think what we perceive to be reality magnifies only has to look as far as her inbox…….
